Imagine Chicken BrothUPDATE: Thank you to everyone that entered! Congratulations to our random winner, Ana M. from Texas! At Whole Foods Market®, we love sharing good food and drink. Whether it’s peak-of-the-season fruit, a team member creation from our bakery, or a new grocery discovery, we love celebrating great flavors and products. But we don’t just want to tell you about it; we want you to enjoy it too, which is why we’re giving it away!  Read on to find out how you could win some free stuff.

When prepping your kitchen for the holiday season, stock up on pantry staples for stress-free entertaining and cooking. One of the handiest ingredients to have is chicken (or veggie) broth. Broth is the foundation of dozens of holiday recipes! When you don’t have time to make it from scratch, reach for great premade options like Imagine Organic Free-Range Chicken Broth. (They also make tasty vegetarian options.)

Here are some of our favorite fall dishes that feature broth:

You can add quick flavor to a meal by substituting broth for water in any recipe that calls for cooking grains like rice, quinoa, or millet.  Use broth to pull together quick soups – just add veggies and some pasta and voila – instant crowd-pleasing meal. You could go through a case in no time at all! So, if you win this Fall Giveaway, what will you do with your case of Imagine Broth?

Tell us what recipes you’ll make with your case of broth in the comments below by Friday, November 23th.  We’ll pick a winner at random to receive a case of Imagine Organic Free-Range Chicken Broth or Imagine Organic Vegetable Broth (your choice of regular or low-sodium).

The fine print: No purchase necessary. Promotion ends November 23, 2012, 11:59 PM CDT. Must be a legal resident of the US or Canada (except in Quebec, where it is void) age 18 or older to participate. Taxes on prize, if applicable, are the responsibility of the winner. Employees of Whole Foods Market, Inc., are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

Chicken broth is so versatile. The best part about Imagine's is that it's organic, tastes good and the container makes it easy to always have chicken broth available in the fridge for adding to almost anything that's cooking on the stove. I like to use chicken broth in soups, pan sauces, stir fry, risottos... the list is endless.

We'd make our home-made roasted red pepper soup (part of the year, it's made with our own home grown peppers; the rest of the year, organic ones - of course!). In the winter, we also make gluten-free chicken noodle soup. And our family's see-crud recipe for Leek & Potato Soup. All started with organiz chicken broth. We use a LOT of it!!

'Tis the season for soup. I would make soups for everyone in my life! Minestrone for my mom, chicken noodle for my daughter, cheesy potato for my hubbie, and a huge batch of tomato for work (& me!), all of which are made better by a delicious broth!

I love soup and comfort food. How about a light tomato-vegetable broth with thyme, paprika, dill and cumin? Jambalya, loaded with ham, chicken and shrimp, gets an additional flavor boost from chicken broth. I also use chicken broth in the white sauce for turkey tetrazzini.

I love making Chinese dumpling soup in the winter with Imagine low sodium chicken broth. It is the fastest soup you can make after a long day at work, provided that you have either homemade dumplings or frozen dumplings handy. All it takes is 8 cups of chicken broth with 3 tbsp of light soy sauce and grated ginger and diced green onions. Bring the liquid to a boil and then drop the dumplings. When the dumplings are almost done (they will float to the top), you can put in some napa cabbage or spanich or escrole or any leafy veggie of your choice. In the end, add a few drops of sesame oil, some chinese hot sauce and fresh cilantro and you are ready to go.

I use Imagine Organic Low Sodium Vegetable Broth for everything not just as a soup base my nutritional lifestyle is vegetarian so most if not all of my cooked meals are prepared with the broth from boiling, steaming, frying etc. My favorite meal is Chinese Lo-Main, I stir fry all of my veggies with the Imagine Low-Sodium Vegetable Broth, when the veggies are ready I stir in cooked gluten-free thin spaghetti noodles tossed with 365 Organic Teriyaki Sauce and served. *ShaYum* if you would like to add Bragg's Amino Sauce to your taste.

I make everything with organic chicken broth. I use it to make my gravy, my vegetable side dishes (mashed potatoes, rice, green beans, etc.). When I make turkey soup, I always use chicken stock. I'm making a bean and pasta soup right now using chicken broth. Why would anyone use water when you can use organic stock or broth?
