Imagine Chicken BrothUPDATE: Thank you to everyone that entered! Congratulations to our random winner, Ana M. from Texas! At Whole Foods Market®, we love sharing good food and drink. Whether it’s peak-of-the-season fruit, a team member creation from our bakery, or a new grocery discovery, we love celebrating great flavors and products. But we don’t just want to tell you about it; we want you to enjoy it too, which is why we’re giving it away!  Read on to find out how you could win some free stuff.

When prepping your kitchen for the holiday season, stock up on pantry staples for stress-free entertaining and cooking. One of the handiest ingredients to have is chicken (or veggie) broth. Broth is the foundation of dozens of holiday recipes! When you don’t have time to make it from scratch, reach for great premade options like Imagine Organic Free-Range Chicken Broth. (They also make tasty vegetarian options.)

Here are some of our favorite fall dishes that feature broth:

You can add quick flavor to a meal by substituting broth for water in any recipe that calls for cooking grains like rice, quinoa, or millet.  Use broth to pull together quick soups – just add veggies and some pasta and voila – instant crowd-pleasing meal. You could go through a case in no time at all! So, if you win this Fall Giveaway, what will you do with your case of Imagine Broth?

Tell us what recipes you’ll make with your case of broth in the comments below by Friday, November 23th.  We’ll pick a winner at random to receive a case of Imagine Organic Free-Range Chicken Broth or Imagine Organic Vegetable Broth (your choice of regular or low-sodium).

I would make all kinds of soups especially now due to the fall and winter season. What a warm and wholesome way to react to the chilly weather.

Imagine Low-Sodium Chicken Broth is a key staple in my kitchen. What do I make? nearly everything! Soups first. One of my favorites is cauliflower/apple/curry soup, pureed with apples sauteed in butter with curry as a garnish. Chicken chile would not have its wonderful flavors without Imagine broth. And Italian bean soup, made with Imagine and Parmesan ends, garnished with fresh basil and grated Parmesan. Risotto also requires Imagine broth. My favorites are with asparagus or fresh spinach and freshly grated Parmesan. Any chicken pasta dish requires a bit of Imagine to build the sauce. And chicken pomodoro or marsala also needs that broth, mixed with fresh garlic and dry marsala, to make a lovely sauce. I'm embarrassed by how much I use this product. I would be thrilled to win a case.

It will be used primarily for soup, especially chicken soup full of vegtables. With the change in weather comes colds and not feeling too good. Good warm soup hits the spot and really makes you feel better.

I use a lot of low sodium vegetable broth. I make a variety of soups- leek and potato, white bean and kale, white "chicken" chili, etc. Risotto is a family favorite and with 2 vegetarians in the house I can no longer use chicken broth in things.I am a working mother of 4 that also prepares meals for my 88 year old mother. Having cartons of broth on hand is a life saver.

I try not to use a lot of oil, so I use broth for everything! Stir fry, soup, any veggie. Imagine broth makes the soup a more rich color...you can tell it's made with real veggies and not just salt, water, and an onion peel.
