Imagine Chicken BrothUPDATE: Thank you to everyone that entered! Congratulations to our random winner, Ana M. from Texas! At Whole Foods Market®, we love sharing good food and drink. Whether it’s peak-of-the-season fruit, a team member creation from our bakery, or a new grocery discovery, we love celebrating great flavors and products. But we don’t just want to tell you about it; we want you to enjoy it too, which is why we’re giving it away!  Read on to find out how you could win some free stuff.

When prepping your kitchen for the holiday season, stock up on pantry staples for stress-free entertaining and cooking. One of the handiest ingredients to have is chicken (or veggie) broth. Broth is the foundation of dozens of holiday recipes! When you don’t have time to make it from scratch, reach for great premade options like Imagine Organic Free-Range Chicken Broth. (They also make tasty vegetarian options.)

Here are some of our favorite fall dishes that feature broth:

You can add quick flavor to a meal by substituting broth for water in any recipe that calls for cooking grains like rice, quinoa, or millet.  Use broth to pull together quick soups – just add veggies and some pasta and voila – instant crowd-pleasing meal. You could go through a case in no time at all! So, if you win this Fall Giveaway, what will you do with your case of Imagine Broth?

Tell us what recipes you’ll make with your case of broth in the comments below by Friday, November 23th.  We’ll pick a winner at random to receive a case of Imagine Organic Free-Range Chicken Broth or Imagine Organic Vegetable Broth (your choice of regular or low-sodium).

The fine print: No purchase necessary. Promotion ends November 23, 2012, 11:59 PM CDT. I love this chicken broth to add flavor to large batches of chicken soup that I like to make in the dead of winter. There's nothing large a steaming bowl of chicken soup on a cold day! This broth also adds lots of depth of flavor to rice dishes and stewed veggies. I also love to throw it in the slow cooker with meat and veggies for a great, one dish meal!

I'll be serving up a quick, hearty and healthy soup. I put the broth in a pan to which I add some frozen pot stickers and a small bag of spinach. Once it boils and the potstickers are cooked, I ladle into large bowls and offer fresh lime wedges and hot sauce for extra kick. Voila!

Well I use chicken broth almost every day. Quick and easy I just add some spice to it and some cheddar cheese and it makes some yummy soup. I also add it to my salami collard greens (Delish!), not to mention my sausage, onion and apple stuffing. I also inject it into my chickens when I roast them after I add in some S&P, cayenne and butter to it. Tonight I'm mixing it in with my cream of chicken soup, buttermilk and sour cream, and pouring it over 2 cans of deluxe mixed veggies, a shredded rotisserie chicken, and some cheddar cheese, and topping it with crumbled ritz crackers. I could go on all night, lol, so I'll just leave y'all with that. Happy Eating!! :)

Every winter I make soups - chicken noodle, mixed vegetables, turkey, ham and lima bean, and also the Kitchen Sink: that means whatever I have in the fridge and pantry, leftovers, all goes in! Pasta or rices, whatever I feel like using.

I usually make soups (that include a variety of vegetables and pasta) with vegetable broth. I would love to create the braised greens with onions recipe, as it's quick and easy to prepare. It would make a great side dish! I would also like to create the hearth bread stuffing. It sounds delicious and healthy!

I love all these broths. I make home made chicken soup with the chicken broth and a chickpea soup with the vegetable broth as my base. Both are delicious but the chickpea is my favorite.
