The Internet is freaking out over the rollout of Whole Foods Market’s new self-serve mochi bars, and we couldn’t be prouder. If you’re a mochi virgin, let us explain: Mochi ice cream is a trendy Japanese-American dessert opens in a new tab made of bite-sized ice cream balls enveloped in sweet rice dough. Our flavors include Strawberry, Vanilla Bean, Matcha Green Tea, Red Bean, Double Chocolate, Black Sesame, Kona Coffee, Mango and more. Prices vary, but are around $2 per treat.
The Buzz is Real
PopSugar said, “If you haven't bitten into a squishy, sweet, cold mochi, you're seriously missing out opens in a new tab.” Agreed.
