This is the start of our focus on back to school. There are so many things that we can do to give our kids a boost up in starting the school year. On this podcast we will be talking with a naturopathic physician about probiotics and what they can do for your child. Dr. Holly Lucille is a licensed naturopathic physician, an expert on women’s health issues. She is the past president of the California Naturopathic Doctor’s Association. In her private practice, Dr Lucille specializes in women’s wellness and family medicine. Dr. Lucille lectures throughout the nation, and has been featured on Lifetime Television for Women and Discovery Health Channel.

I'm interested in a good probotic to offer my website customers after their whole body cleanse.

Great! Probiotics are certainly a smart thing to follow a healthy cleanse. Any probiotic supplement that is found on Whole Foods Market shelves will be effective, science-based, and most important, will contain the live active beneficial bacteria the label indicates. Many products are found in the refrigerated section in the Whole Body department, while a few brands do not need to be kept cold (those are great for travel or to keep at the office.) Thanks for your question!

I am still a bit leery about pro-biotics however this podcast helped me see the benefits. I am not nearly as concerned as I was before about safety and siliac damage.
