I already use mostly natural cleaning products, but I'd love to win - I still use those terrible non-biodegradable cleaning wipes.

By choosing green household products, we as consumers contribute to the detoxification of our home environment. Harm reduction begins with each of us. Act local, think global. North Decatur, GA

The environment needs our help. Each person that goes green DOES help. I like to go green in my home not only for the safety of the Earth herself, but for me and my family's safety. That includes my dog Gunner. Chemicals in a lot of our cleaning products can even make our pets sick. Go green!

Now that I have my baby girl in the house, I have tried to switch over to green products. Nothing like a baby in the house to make you want to get the yucky chemicals OUT.

I am trying to convert the person I live with to a greener lifestyle. I recently got her to freecycle all of her cancerous cosmetic products! I think for her cost is definitely a problem when it comes to greener products. So I think that for her to buy them they will need to be similar in price to conventional products.

We are trying to live cleaner and simpler all around. We're slowly switching many of our cleaning and bath products to be more eco-friendly and healthy. We are about to move into a new house and it would be nice to start fresh in it with green products.

I am concerned when I use cleaning products in my home. I have a 10 year old daughter and 2 cats and a dog and I do not want to expose them to the unknown risks of household cleaning products. It is important to me for my family to make the switch to toxin free cleaning products so we can make our home greener and our world a greener place to live.

Green cleaning is better for our health and the earth's health. So many dangers lurk in traditional cleaners on the market and pose a huge risk to our health. We all need to be responsible to sustain our planet. I generally clean with white vinegar tinted with a drop of mint oil so that it smells better.

Chemicals in cleaning products are bad for the environment, bad for our pets, and bad for us. A green clean is the only way to go.

I lived in Germany for 13 years and slowly became far more "green" due to the daily practices Europeans use without thought. I miss the general attitude of simple gestures of environment. I'm trying to regain this feeling without having an entire country filled with like-minded people. Buying beverages in containers that MUST be recycled, not using aluminium or plastic throw away containers, not overusing water but most of all, using products that are not harmful and that people don't question.

I'm inspired to give my home a greener clean because I have two kids under the age of 5. I want to rid my home of toxins and other chemicals that aren't good to breathe in or touch. We want to rid our home of parabens and petroleum-based ingredients. This gift basket would be a perfect way to introduce more green cleaners into my home!

I try and use as many as I am able to. I think making the full switch has a lot to do with price. Greener choices are often much more expensive, and right now, not everyone is able to afford them. But, when I think how much better they are for me, my son and everyone, it makes a monetary argument seem less important. So, to make the switch completely, I would want to sample different brands and see which ones work the best for my home. I have a 2 year old, so we use lots of cleaning products. And I just thought about how much my two year old like to spray my bottles of cleaning products and how much safer it is for him when they are green products!

Thanks for sharing the "green" on Earth Day, Whole Foods! Why do I need to switch to "green" products! It is simple! First, I work for a "green" company (Free Green Can) and make steps to become "greener" everyday! Secondly . . . I am a bachelor and cleaning is not my skill set! Any hep - especially "green" help" will inspire me to become a "green" Clean machine! Go Green!

I love the idea of greener cleaning products to reduce the amount of chemical exposure to my family and pets. However, we are also on a budget so I often have to balance the costs against the benefits and try to find a balance. Winning this basket would be a great way to try out some new products to see if it is something we could incorporate going forward.

We just found out we're having twins in the fall and I want to make sure they are in the best environment possible when they are brought into this world and that I teach them why it's important to take care of our bodies and our world. I couldn't imagine a better gift than winning a basket of green cleaning products. They will go to very good use I'm sure!!
