Every summer, we host a lemonade stand to support Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, to fight children's cancer. July 4th weekend we set up and are out there all day. Last year we raised over $2000. My daughter's favorite drink is to mix the yellow and pink lemonade to make orange. For the grown-ups, we make sun-tea and limeade.

I have finally perfected my Thai Tea using a splenda / brown sugar mix, and YUM! but MY favorite drink that I can ONLY make in the summer is steeped black tea with a sprig of mint from my garden (which grows profusely in summer!). I learned that the oils from the stem are what flavor the tea, and it is SURPRISINGLY refreshing! (I wouldn't have believe it if I hadn't tried it myself because I don't care for packaged mint tea, ick!) REFRESHING is the only way to describe it!

I enjoy a nice cold drink of lemonade with raspberries and blackberries. I also like strawberry lemonade. I use cane sugar or honey with my lemonade. It always needs to be organic.

My favorite Summer beverage is Sun Iced Tea. I love to leave the tea bags out in the sun and let the Sun do its work. This stand would be perfect for my son who is always trying to make a little money.
