I love to marinate my chicken with a bunch of bbq sauce over night in a container- but a big secret- before I put the chicken in to soak, I mix the bbq sauce with about three tablespoons of a spanish red wine like a Shiraz for a nice smooth twist! Add some fresh cilantro after grilling and WA-LAH! Super delicious! AND you can drink the left over wine! PERFECT!

I love to grill summer, fall, winter and spring! The flavors of food on the grill are better and I think it's healthier. Fresh fish and shrimp, kebabs!, fruits and vegis, chicken, meat and tofu, from my Whole Foods of course, are the best.

My husband loves shish kebobs and wants to try new recipes this summer. He bought a huge book on grilling so he can do more bbq-ing on our Big Green Egg bbq we never seem to use. Whole Foods is the best store for all things meat and veggie.

I am submitting this for my brother, who will be turning 45 on May 26. He has solely been using his grill for over a year, as his oven is no longer in use. He comes up with some really creative grilling ideas and I know this basket would really help make his summer sizzle and a special Birthday surprise.

We make grilling a special treat by buying grass fed organic ground beef and making really tasty hamburgers. There is no comparison with conventional burgers. And of course we have to add all the sides like potato salad, baked beans and tabouli. Yum! And if it's a special summer occasion, we've got to make homemade ice cream for dessert.

My very favorite is brined pork loin, grilled, with grilled peaches and pineapple on the side and a salad. Plus cold beer. Nothing is as wonderful on a summer evening.

Marinate some pork shoulder or country style short ribs in a brown sugar fish sauce for a few hours. Grill over medium coals basting constantly and you get tender caramelized Asian pork! I slice it and serve over a crispy mint cabbage slaw with peanuts. Beautiful with grilled fruit and lime halves too, yum.

Seafood! Nothing better than grilled seafood. We're not huge meat fans, so we get a ton of different kinds of fish to grill and serve with salads and salsas. Snapper, swordfish, salmon and shrimp, mmmm...

My favorite summer grilled dessert is pineapple. Use the outer ring, grill, and add to ice cream for a cold finish to a hot summer's day.

Living in MN, my boyfriend and I started grilling in February hoping it would speed up the arrival of spring/summer. We recently discovered Whole Foods's salmon burgers, and are in love with them!!! The teriyaki and the mediterranean flavors are our current favorites, and I've got my honey hooked on my baked sweet potato fries and grilled asparagus! Every Whole Foods visit we also sample something new from the prepared meats counter and have yet to be disappointed by anything we have tried. We grill all weekend and then have leftovers to take for lunches during the week!
