April 8, 2009 -- Sahale Snacks, Inc. is voluntarily recalling 2 oz Ksar Pistachios Nut Blend, 5 oz Ksar Pistachios Nut Blend and 4 oz Harry & David Marrakesh Pistachios Nut Blend, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

There have been no cases of Salmonellosis or illnesses reported to date in connection with these products and the company is issuing this recall strictly as a precaution. The recall was initiated after Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, Inc. expanded their recall of pistachio products on April 6, 2009. Sahale Snacks Inc. has informed the FDA of its actions and is fully cooperating with the Agency.
