Holidays on the Cheap Workshop

From the Mile High Cheapskates who bring you "Living on the Cheap" comes "Holidays on the Cheap," a fast-moving look at how to navigate and survive the holidays without burning a hole in your wallet. The workshop will cover ways to save on gifts and gift giving, festive feasts, decorations, craft shows, visits with Santa and his elves, as well as the tried-and-true and new-to-you cultural events. As always, in true MHOTC fashion, there will be prizes and surprises.

Grab & Give

‘Tis the season to give back! Help fight hunger in Chicago this winter with a donation at our registers to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Beginning November 7 and running through December 31, shoppers can purchase tags at the registers to benefit this local organization, which serves 678,000 adults and children in Cook County. We’ll also have a bin at the front of our store where we are accepting non-perishable pantry staples. All proceeds and foods items will go to the Greater Chicago Food Depository to feed families in need right here in the Chicago community.

America Recycles Day at Whole Foods Market Andover!

At Whole Foods Market, we care about our communities and our environment.

We respect our environment and recycle, reuse, and reduce our waste wherever and whenever we can. That's why we want to celebrate America Recycles Day in a big way on November 15th!

Come by from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. to learn about recycling and eco-friendly living. The Andover Recycling Committee will be in our store sharing recycling best practices!

Some of the activities we have planned for the day include:

E-Waste Recycling Event

E-waste is a growing problem in our communities because electronics contain dangerous toxins and are rarely disposed of sustainably

New legislation was recently passed that will ban residents of Colorado from disposing of electronics in landfills.

Do your part to support this law and create change by recycling all of your electronics with ethical recyclers like SustainAbility.

We are recognized by the EPA and the State of Colorado as a large quantitiy electronics recycler.
