Movie on the lanai – The Greenhorns

 

This documentary follows the lives of a handful of young farmers – a loose collective known as The Greenhorns, who are working not just to preserve farming itself, but also to raise its visibility as a viable career for the next generation. If you farm or garden, or know someone who is interested in becoming a farmer, this documentary is for you! Directed by Severine Von Tscharner Fleming, a farmer herself and passionate and charismatic evangelist for young farmers. Movie will be shown on the bar lanai, with extended happy hour for the movie!

Staying Young: Happiness and Wisdom for Seniors

Organic lifestyle expert and wellness educator Rebecca Reynolds Wallack will present a free series for older adults at the Heights Library. She will speak on topics relevant to the 50-plus group and Whole Foods Market will offer some healthy snacks.We would like you to RSVP at Whole Foods Market, 216-932-3918 if you plan to attend, but the program is free.
