Cleaver-wielding pros battle it out in Whole Foods Market’s ultimate homage to the craft of butchery. The Butcher This, Filet That Competition is our way of celebrating our skilled butchers and fishmongers and shines the spotlight on the tradition and craft of butchery — a pursuit that takes a high degree of skill and years of experience to master. The top butcher from our in-store competition featuring six of our NW Chicago Suburb Whole Foods Market Stores will compete on Saturday April 27 starting at noon with the winner moving on to the regional finals in Chicago. Come watch the best of the best butchers and fishmongers compete. While here, you’ll be entered to win a $50 Whole Foods Market gift card. Must be present to win.
Meet David of W & M Land Corp, after 25 years in manufacturing, David decided to leave the insanity of corporate culture and jump into a totally different type of insanity running an organic nursery. He now enjoys full time peasantry, trading meetings for planting, business reports for organic certification documentation and people management for integrated pest management. At least now he can always claim his business is growing.
W&M Land Corp Organic Nursery grows and supplies Whole Foods Market Kildeer with organic plants, grown on their small farm in Woodstock, Illinois.
David will be out taking questions and giving advice to help get your spring garden prepped and ready to go!
