As part of the three-day Street Food Fest, the Rouge store will host a local Arts Market from 10am – 3pm. Artists include team members, Joseph “The Metal Whisperer” Jilbert known for recycled metal sculptures, Cori Levitt with repurposed wine bottles, and Rick Galvan with framed photography and lamps.
At 2 p.m. CST, Whole Foods Market’s cheese mongers in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. will simultaneously demonstrate the traditional method of breaking into wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano. Come watch Baton Rouge’s own cheese expert ceremoniously crack the wheel at 2 p.m. and be among the first to taste a delectably fresh heart of Parm.
It’s time for another meet up of the Whole Foods Market Wine Club. The wines will be paired with an assortment of cheeses & hors d'oeuvres. Join Chef Sally for a St. Patrick’s Day cooking class. Learn how to make traditional dishes of the Irish! Chef Sally is a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute & studied at L'Arpage in Paris, France. She has worked as a private chef aboard private yachts all over the world.
We are so excited to welcome Stephanie Riegel and Tracey Koch for a Kids Dish cooking class! Kids Dish is a family friendly food column that appears monthly in The Advocate as well as webisodes on the LPB website. Kids ages 7 – 12 are welcome to participate in this class.

We are eggcited about hosting an Eggstravaganza event to celebrate the versatility and deliciousness of eggs throughout the store.
