Back by popular demand, Seafood Team Member, Isaac Henriquez shares the important techniques of fish preparing and creates a delicious seafood menu to share with the class. The most-asked questions from seafood rookies are, “What’s the best way to cook fish?” and “How do I know if it’s cooked through?” Join us as we tackle these issues and more: Learn easy recipes, essential techniques, and how to properly select fish at the market while increasing your fish-cooking confidence.

This is a chance for kids to be rewarded for playing with their food. They will be guided through our produce department by our Healthy Eating Specialist, Kristina Jackson, as they select and learn about vegetables for their edible garden. They will then learn how to prepare ‘edible soil’ and “plant” their veggies within the soil. Once their farming is complete, they will get to enjoy the ‘veggies’ of their labor.
