We’re shattering the world record! Join us while more than 400 wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano will be simultaneously cracked and sampled at all Whole Foods Market stores globally. The Cracking will take place in our Specialty department at exactly 2pm CST along with sampling of this nutty flavor cheese and recipes using this cheese throughout the store.
Gordon, our Cheese Specialist will explore the intricacies of food pairings to teach you why some flavors work better together than others. Using aroma and taste we will sample different cheese pairings and learn some simple principles that will help to create the perfect food match. Learn such things like why blue cheese pairs so well with ripe pears, and why some cheeses pair best with fig spread. We are grilling out hot dogs, portabella mushrooms, shrimp skewers and corn on the cob and maybe a surprise or two, along with live music. Sit back have fun enjoying the evening with family or friends or just hang out with us.
