Sushi is a food that is as fun eat as it is to make. Learn the techniques for making sushi rice, hand rolling and much more. Price of class includes free bamboo rolling mat and you get to eat the sushi you make. This hands-on class is open to adults, 18 yrs or older.

Treat yourself to dinner and friendly food truck competition. Local food trucks, The Great Escape, Urban Street Grill and King Creole will be competing for the prize of "Best Use a Local Ingredient".
You can win too!
Just vote on which truck you think did the best job using a local ingredient. Two lucky winners will be selected to receive a pair of Greensboro Grasshopper tickets and a baseball autographed by the team.
We'll also be pouring $4 pints of Natty Greene's beer, add a souvenir glass for $2 extra.

Show your support for school gardens with a burger for lunch! Choose from a grilled, grass-fed beef, or veggie burger, accompanied by a chips and a drink for $5. Proceeds benefit the School Garden Network of Greensboro. Drink includes either soda or water, craft beer available for $4 extra.

Bring the whole family out for a day of fun. We’re kicking off our birthday celebration with a live cooking show featuring local chefs (details below). At 12pm, tour the store and rub elbows with local vendors, pile into a photo booth for a group pic, play a pickup game of cornhole, and don’t forget about the birthday cake. For the kids there’s a petting zoo, inflatable obstacle course, balloon animals and a doggy adoption fair!

Polish up your cooking skills with tips, tricks and delicious recipes from these local Carolina chefs. This is a live event, free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so be sure to arrive early.
