Our next Community Giving Day on April 10 will benefit the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation (jamieoliverfoodfoundation.org). Five percent of the day's net sales will be contributed to this 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All Whole Foods Market Northern California and Reno stores will be participating.
The Jamie Oliver Food Foundation (JOFF) is a California-based non-profit foundation that works to bring food education to schools and youth groups, businesses and communities. It does this by raising awareness in the media to galvanize policy changes at a local and national level, offering hands-on training to instill food skills and knowledge and founding partnerships to enable JOFF to scale nationally.
Proceeds from the Community Giving Day will be used to create these specific programs in Northern California and Reno:
All Whole Foods Markets in the Northern Califronia region will donate 5% of sales to the Jamie Oliver Foundation which will benefit local schools and organizations to bring MORE food education to children in our community.
