Chair Yoga with Kat
Saturday, May 25th
9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
Woodway, free

Have you tried chair yoga before? Chair yoga provides many of the same benefits as traditional yoga - it helps improve flexibility and breathing, as well as posture. If you haven't tried it before, Whole Foods Market Woodway will be hosting a small class on Saturday, May 25th from 9:00-9:45 AM. The class will be hosted by Kat Axmann (http://katsyogalab.com/), whom you may have met at our April juicing event.

This complimentary class is limited to 10 people. Email woodwayevents@wholefoods.com to sign up.

More about chair yoga: It is a unique yoga style that adapts yoga positions and poses through creative use of a yoga chair. The chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of the body. The student is able to warm up the body safely and perform yoga poses with more support and stability. Poses are done seated on the chair or the chair is used for support during standing poses, forward and backward bends, side extensions, balancing, and leg and arm stretches. Chair Yoga is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and physical conditions.
