Join Courtney, our Healthy Eating Specialist as she leads an Engine 2 Diet 28 Day Challenge. The Engine 2 Diet book was written by Rip Esselstyn, a former firefighter, and now Healthy Eating Ambassador for Whole Foods Market. Individuals following the Engine 2 program adopt a whole food, nutrient dense way of eating that includes lots of fruits & vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds. The Engine 2 plan can help you to maintain a normal weight, reduce your cholesterol, and increase overall energy and well-being.
The genesis of Engine 2 was to transform the eating habits of a bunch of Texas firefighters at Austin's Engine 2 firehouse in order to save a fellow firefighter’s life. The goal in writing The Engine 2 Diet was to educate people on the irrefutable connection between what they put in their mouths and their ability to achieve ideal health.

Join Elizabeth Tringali, PA-C for special lecture on gut health. Did you know that 70 % of your health is located in your gut? Your gut sees more foreign allergens in one day than your systemic immune system sees in a lifetime. When it doesn't work or feel well neither does the rest of you. The health of your gut determines what nutrients are absorbed and what toxins, allergens and microbes are kept out, and therefore it is directly linked to the health of the total organism.
