The Camden City Garden Club (CCGC) operates the Camden Children’s Garden (CCG) & Community Gardening Program, transforming Camden’s of abandoned trash-strewn lots into community gardens to nourish and beautify neighborhoods. Camden residents work with CCGC to install/maintain food-producing community gardens throughout the city, and assist with tree plantings and greening projects. Today, CCGC is a leading provider of healthy, inexpensive food, feeding more than 12% of the Camden population from their 120+ community gardens.
Several times a year, we hold 5% days, where 5% of that day’s net sales are donated to a local nonprofit, and CCGC will be benefiting from all your shopping on October 16. Do a little shopping (or a lot!) on October 16 and help CCGC expand access and distribution of fresh food for Camden residents!
