Join us for three sessions of support, information, cooking demonstrations, and giveaways as we introduce you to Whole Foods Market’s new 14-Day Blast Off to Health.
Session 1: Meet the Specialist
Angela Dennison, our Healthy Eating Specialist drops in to share why we need to switch from the Standard American Diet (SAD) to one that is full of nutrients and deliciousness. Each member receives a starter kit to get on the path to health and an intro to our online program.
Classes continue on January 21 and 28 at 7:00pm.
Whole Kids Club Returns!
You asked and we listened. Our Whole Kids Club returns with sessions once on month to help kids discover where their food comes from and how great it feels to eat healthfully. Each month we explore different foods through art projects, store tours, tasting and creating simple recipes. Whole Kids Club is geared toward kids in Kindergarten through grade 3.
Our first session focuses on root vegetables: Move to the Beet
What are root vegetables and how do they grow? How many different kinds are there? We tour our produce department for answers and then highlight some cools way for kids to eat their roots. The class will also create beet chips to take home and create art using beet paint. Please register at customer service to reserve your spot in class.

Session 2: Blast Off Supper Club – Get your Greens, Veggies and Grains
We sample some of our favorite go-to foods and show you how easy it is to cook up staples that will help you stay on track. Also time to check in on progress and feedback on our online program.

In our final session, we host a pizza party and finalize some vital tools to help you on your way.

More tastes and information along with some “keys to success” goodies to take home. We also raffle off a Healthy Pantry Basket to our participants who came out for all three sessions.
