Join Whole Foods Market Woodland Hills for our Community Support Day scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, 2013! On this day, the store will donate five percent of all sales to the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley to help middle- and high-school students prepare for college through the Club’s College Bound Program.
The Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley was founded in 1992 as a response to the local need for safe, healthy, productive activities for youths during non-school hours. There are more than 3,400 members of the Club. Approximately 150 children visit the Main Clubhouse in Canoga Park each day in addition to more than 550 children engaged in after-school activities at the Club’s nine school sites: Blythe, Reseda, Cantara Street, and Topeka Drive Elementary Schools; Hale Charter Academy Middle School; Canoga Park, Chatsworth, and Cleveland High Schools; and the affordable housing community of Tierra del Sol.
