Our One Dime at a Time program provides an incentive to our customers to reuse their grocery bags while developing stronger communities. At the register, customers have the option to receive a 10¢ per reusable bag refund or they can choose to donate it to that month’s selected charity organization. From April through June, all donations will benefit Metro Blooms and their community rain garden education program. Their mission is to help heal our watersheds through healthy gardening practices – rain gardens help keep our watersheds healthy and they’re working hard to offer a number of affordable community workshops so that more and more people can grow them on their own. For more information, please visit their website at www.metroblooms.org.
At Whole Foods Market, we’re all Earthlings – including our team members, customers, suppliers and partners. We recycle. Bring in your unused and unwanted CDs, DVDs and their cases to our café and look for the drop off box! Please help save our planet, one CD or DVD at a time!
