Fun-filled Family Event Supports the Fight against Autism

Organized by the Palm Beach Gardens location of Whole Foods Market and benefiting Autism Speaks, the first annual Blues ‘N’ Brews Food & Wine Festival, sponsored in part by WFLX TV Fox 29, will take place Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Downtown at the Gardens mall at 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Drive in Palm Beach Gardens.  Located throughout the beautiful outdoor spaces of the mall, the family-friendly event will combine face painting and children’s activities, craft beer and wine tastings, artisan food pairings, shopping and the smooth rhythms of local blues artists Sweetbone, DJ Bert, Deny Rowand and Bossas Boleros & Blues, with a special performance by Tony Wilson and the Godfather of Soul Band, for an afternoon full of philanthropic fun.    Rachel Leigh of WFLX Fox 29 will be on-site covering live, as well as signing autographs and introducing the bands.

Tickets for the not-to-miss event are $15 in advance/$20 at the gate for adults and $5 in advance/$8 at the gate for those under 21 and can be purchased in advance at Whole Foods Market in Palm Beach Gardens or by contacting Brenna Bertram-Salman at (561) 691-8550 x215 Brenna.Bertram@wholefoods.com100% of tickets sales will be donated to Autism Speaks South Florida.  A full schedule of the day’s events is below.
