Initially robust tannins soften into dark fruits. Wine Enthusiast: 86 points. Course 3: Classic Chicken Pot Pie Wine: Gadino, Cabernet Franc - $21.99 15 months in oak, this wine exhibits aromas of black fruit & vanilla while dark cherry and blackberry fruits fill your palate ending in an earthy spice and vanilla finish. Course 4: Roasted Fall Vegetables with Sage and Thyme Wine: Tarara, Viognier - $15.99 Aromas of citrus and some stone fruit character laying over some herbal and grassy tones. The palate is light and fresh with loads of crisp acidity, granny smith apple and grapefruit elements leading to a long and clean fruit forward finish.
