All hands on deck for this sustainable seafood sampling  event! Explore seafood and get cooking tips!  At Whole Foods Market, sustainable seafood goes beyond industry standards to help ensure that the fish we have today will continue to thrive.

Back in 1999 Whole Foods Market was the first U.S. retailer to collabroate with the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and each year we continue to offer our customers more and more MSC-certifed seafood options. Today, 80% of thew world's marine populations are fully fished, over-exploited, depleted, or recovering from depleton.  With seafood growing in demand, it's critical tat sustainable fishing practices are followed if wild-caught seafood is going to be available in the future and if farmed seafood is going to be able to supplement wild fish supplies.  Whole Foods Market is committed to working with organiziations such as the Marine Stewardship Council, Blue Ocean Institute, and Monterey Bay Aquarium to bring advance to the market for sustainable seafood.  Learn more here: http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/mission-values/seafood-sustainability/se...
