More Tasty Ways to Enjoy Catfish

Seasoning Catfish
  • With Black-Eyed Pea Relish
    Rinse and drain canned black-eyed peas. Stir in diced red onion and bell pepper, chopped parsley, red wine vinegar and olive oil. Spoon over cooked catfish.
  • In Fish Curry
    Simmer chunks of catfish with ginger, garlic, potatoes and red curry paste in coconut milk and broth. Serve over rice.
  • In Fish Gumbo
    Simmer chunks of catfish with okra, tomatoes, onion, bell pepper and garlic. Serve over white or brown rice with plenty of hot sauce.
  • In Fish Tacos
    Fill soft tortillas with grilled or pan-fried catfish, shredded cabbage and carrots, sliced avocado, cilantro and pico de gallo (chunky salsa).
