Herb Crusted Goat Cheese
Serves 4 to 6
Make sure to use fresh herbs to make this easy, elegant appetizer, perfect for serving at a cocktail party.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon finely chopped thyme
1 tablespoon finely chopped marjoram
1 tablespoon dried grated lemon peel
2 sage leaves, finely chopped
2 basil leaves, finely chopped
1 (4- to 6-ounce) log, crotin or pyramid fresh goat cheese
Crostini or crackers
Method
Combine thyme, marjoram, lemon peel, sage and basil on a large plate. Roll goat cheese in mixed herbs until completely coated.
Transfer to a serving plate with crackers or crostini.
