Wholesome Dining—BBQ Style

Come learn and feast with Chef Matt in a true BBQ-style manner but a bit more wholesome. Veggie platter, chips, BBQ pork, baked beans, coleslaw and a cherry berry trifle for dessert. Did we mention the beer? What BBQ is complete without some tasty beer?

Wines From Around the World—Spain!

Come spend an evening with wine aficionado and chef, Drew, from our Specialty department! Through food and wine, Drew will lead you on a trip around Spain. Five wines will be paired with five Spanish inspired tastes. Bring a friend and celebrate the Spanish cuisine.

Beyond the Beef Burgers

Come join meat cutter Amanda as she inspires you to cook burgers with alternative grinds. Learn how to make bison burgers, pork burgers, chicken burgers, lamb burgers and even a veggie burger so you can include that family member or friend who chooses to abstain from meat in your next BBQ gathering.

In Season Salmon

Even seafood has its seasonal products! Come learn and cook with fish monger and chef Karl from our Seafood department. You will learn three recipes on how to cook the heavily sought after Copper River Sockeye salmon. Harvested in May, this will be the freshest salmon around.

BBQ season is high on everyone’s to do list right now. It’s time to get outdoors and have some fun. Join Sarah, our Cooking at Home Specialist, as she teaches you how to make numerous fun and delicious side dishes perfect for the BBQ season. From coleslaw to potato salad, baked beans to sauerkraut and fruit salads to cobbler, the menu will delight taste buds of all ages.

Health Starts Here Supper Club – Summer Picnic Spread

Reserve a seat for our Health Starts Here Supper Club, and enjoy a four-course, plant-strong meal in our Lifestyle Center. Your Health Starts Here team will prepare and serve the plated meal, while you enjoy the food and conversation. Sign up with a friend, or come on your own and meet other guests interested in healthy, delicious food! This month’s supper club will feature a healthy spin on a summer picnic spread, and will be vegan and gluten-free. Guests may also visit the 1550 Bar to purchase a suggested beer or wine pairing! Recipes provided. Recreate the dishes for your own summer festivities.

Indian Cooking with Anupy

Friday, June 7th - 11a & 6:30p - $10
Travel with cookbook author and journalist Anupy Singla to the heart of the spice fields along the Malabar Coast of India and unlock the mysteries to the cuisine that is unique to Kerala. Anupy will talk about her trip to that region and show you how to make your own amazing dishes central to this unique Indian state.
