The Cary team members are part of the local community and we are passionate about supporting the local causes that are important to our shoppers and neighbors. We offer a variety of community support for organizations that are striving to make a difference in our local community in ways that align with our core values. We support nonprofit organizations and educational programs that are addressing such issues as hunger relief, environmental concerns, local foods, animal welfare and health and human services. Please keep in mind that due to the number of requests we receive, we are unable to accommodate every request and we will only contact you if your request has been approved.
Groups are invited to apply for support in the form of gift baskets, catering trays, or in-kind product donations such as water, soft drinks, fruit, or snack foods, for community events, or charity auctions. The typical donation is between $25 and $150. Selections are made monthly. Organizations must apply at least 30 days in advance of the date they need the request or your request will not be considered. Four times a year we hold 5% days where 5% of our net sales are donation to a local nonprofit organization. If you would like to apply for a 5% day please read the application carefully and fill out in full. Once submitted, your application will be considered within 6 months and may be kept on a waiting list for future consideration for up to a year.
