The Wellness Club at Whole Foods Market Dedham offers a research and evidence-based nutrition curriculum in a structured and easily accessible format with the goal of educating and empowering people to take control of their health and nutrition choices.
Whether you are seeking to learn more about the benefits of a plant based lifestyle due to either health and medical reasons or because you want to break away from the Standard American Diet, participants in the Wellness Club curriculum are part of a supportive and non-judgmental community, learning not only from trained chefs and educators but from each other as well.
Our 12 Week Nutrition course will take you through the first two phases of our plant based, whole food education program. You will be introduced to the Four Pillars of Healthy Eating, get an in depth and practical look at macronutrients and how to get the support you need to make real and impactful changes in your diet and lifestyle.
The Wellness Club not only teaches you the “whys” of a plant based lifestyle, but also focuses largely on the “how.” Most classes are paired with an educational and demonstrative cooking class complete with recipes and techniques. These cooking classes are an excellent opportunity to see not only how easy healthy cooking can be but that it can taste just as great!
Our 12 Week Plant Based Nutrition Course is broken up into two hour blocks and is offered three times a week over the course of three months. Our next series of classes begins January 8, 2013. Sign up today to reserve your spot!
