KidSmart - Tools for Learning - is a local nonprofit organization that operates a free educational supply store to help area kids succeed in school. Since opening in 2002, KidSmart has distributed over $12 million in school supplies to local kids in need. The “Push for Pencils” drive will help replenish the KidSmart Free Store for the start of the 2012 school year and provide thousands of children with the tools they need for success in the classroom. With the help of the St. Louis community, a notebook for each child in need can be just the beginning.
Receptacles will be available for your generous school supply donations throughout the month of August.
