Screening of Truck Farm at Center for Contemporary Arts

Please join us at Center for Contemporary Arts for our next installment in our Do Something REEL film series, Truck Farm. A new generation of quirky urban farmers, traveling across New York to ask: Can a city feed itself? Ian Cheney’s film blends serious exposition with charming silliness, considering whether sustainability needs a dose of whimsy to be truly sustainable. Featuring chef Dan Barber, nutritionist Marion Nestle, explorer Henry Hudson and a very lonely seagull. (U.S., 2012, 48m, digital video). Proceeds benefit our July community partner: Homegrown New Mexico.
