Slow Food St. Louis, a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating and supporting food traditions, is pleased to announce that their annual fundraiser, Art of Food, will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm, at Koken Art Factory (2500 Ohio Avenue, 63104). Proceeds from the event will benefit Slow Food St. Louis’ production of over 30 educational events, films, and tastings each year, as well as their innovative Small Farm Micro Biodiversity Grant, which over the past three years has awarded approximately $30,000 to local, sustainable farmers to grow or raise more than 200 different heirloom varieties of produce and heritage breeds of animals.  To learn more go to: www.artoffoodstl.com
