I was enjoying browsing the new store until I saw that gruesome sight, at which point I left feeling nauseated. I am a vegetarian who has no objections to others' dietary preferences - but I think that hanging whole body pigs in plain view of all customers is unnecessary. The pigs did not escape my small children's notice either. This isn't something I would have chosen to show them, and I don't think they'll be asking for meat anytime soon. Aside from that, however, the store is beautiful. I have to agree with Bill about the whole pigs hanging in the meat area. If they'd use regular onions instead of red and if they had that same sauce In-N-Out uses it'd be almost identical. Too bad the fries are nowhere in the same neighborhood and it took me so long to check out that my fries were soggy before I left the store. They really need to address the crowds during prime times especially in the express lanes. It is a terrific store - I'm very disappointed that there wasn't an expansion of the sushi bar. The hot bars are expensive (7.99/lb) but you can't beat the variety. We had dinner from the grill and ate in the cafe. The burgers were HUGE! Next time I might have to get the Junior burger. Up until now I thought "In and Out Burger" in California was the best burger I've ever eaten. The burger I had yesterday was as good if not better then the "In And Out Burger". My only concern was the parking garage(s)...The underground parking was cause for concern if one is visiting later in the evening..A good crime spot if parking toward the rear of the lot.
