Cold and Flu Season?

- Is it a cold or the flu? One big difference is fever. Colds rarely cause fever. Flu usually does, says the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Flu may also include fatigue, muscle discomfort and cough. The common cold is actually an upper respiratory tract infection and symptoms include sneezing, runny and stuffy nose, sinus swelling, headache, cough, and scratchy throat.
