The 2009 Annual In-store campaign for Whole Planet Foundation has officially kicked off! This fundraising and awareness campaign will run until March 31st. The Whole Planet Foundation funds microloans to the poorest of the poor ($200 on average) in countries like Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Kenya and Nepal to name a few. Shop Whole Foods now and give as little as $1 or as much as $5 to help make a difference, empower the poor to lift themselves out of poverty and give back to global communities in which Whole Foods sources products.
