Local Food & Farm Tour: Quetzal Farm
Wednesday, September 30, 3pm, Santa Rosa
Kevin McEnnis started the farm in Santa Rosa in 1999, giving it the name of the national bird of Guatemala, where he planted his first garden. Quetzal Farm (pronounced ket-sall) produces organic vegetables and fruit on seventeen acres in Santa Rosa and Occidental, California. Quetzal specializes in dry farmed tomatoes – a real treat. Join us to learn about this productive small farm and the magic of dry-farming. Spaces are limited and advance registration is required. To sign up, please email susan.grelock@wholefoods.com and put “Quetzal Farm” in the subject line.
