Earth Day 5% CommUnity Day!

Please join us on Wednesday, April 22nd as have our 5% CommUnity Day to benefit the Overland Park Arboretum. On this day, 5% of the day’s net sales will go to benefit this wonderful organization that works to keep the city at the forefront of environmental and ecological issues. Roughly 85 percent of the property is dedicated to preservation and restoration of natural ecosystems. The remaining property contains a traditional botanical garden and a visitors center.

The mission of the Whole Planet Foundation is to create economic partnerships through micro-credit with the poor in communities that supply Whole Foods Market stores with product, with a focus on the developing world. This is a hand up, not a hand out.

There are a variety of ways that you can support the Whole Planet Foundation, two of the easiest are to donate either $1, $5, or any amount above at our registers and purchase Whole Trade Products, where 1% of the sales go to benefit this foundation.
