Deals and Steals

Looking for some great deals this week? Here are a few of my favorites!
O.N.E. coconut water is on sale right now, look for it in the juice aisle. Haven’t ever tried coconut water before? It is quite delicious and a great thirst quencher during the hot summer. The water is harvested from young coconuts and is naturally sweet with very few calories and no fat (that comes from the coconut meat). It can provide your body with the electrolytes lost from sweating in the hot sun and is a great source of potassium. The individual 11.2 oz. containers of O.N.E. are normally $1.99 each, but are on sale right now for 3 for $3. What could make it even better? Oh yeah! A coupon in the Whole Deal for 75 cents, bringing the price down to a mere twenty five cents. Give one a try!
Over in the Dairy cooler, look for two great deals with the fresh salsa. First, check out the 16 oz salsas from Cedar’s, where you can get two for $3.49. My favorite is the Garlic and Artichoke salsa, but there are a number of varieties to choose from and each one has a distinct great taste. Won’t be able to use two before the expiration date? I love to freeze these, and then pull it out when I need want to cook with black (or any other) beans. It has all the seasoning that you need to make a tasty bean dish!
Also from Cedar’s (and right below the salsa) are spinach and wheat wraps. They are on sale for two packages for $2.99 and $2.69 respectively. These freeze really well, too, and are great to have on hand for making baked burritos or quesadillas. This is a great price for them and they are super tasty. Take advantage of this while you can!
