Getting ready for the Fourth!

Ah, yes. It is that time of year. Time for friends, food, and fireworks.

Check out the Meat department where you will find baby back ribs for only $4.99 a pound! Or you could try some of their tasty brats made with Georgia pork. You’ll find these in beer and cheddar, beer, Vidalia onion, sweet, or spicy for only $5.99 a pound. Fresh off the grill, these sweet sausages will make your mouth happy!

Looking for something to bring with you to a party? Bakery has some cool American flag cakes with yellow or chocolate cake, an easy holiday hit. Prepared Foods has some excellent side dishes that you can easily pass off as your own from grilled corn and Vidalia onion salad to coleslaw, to potato salad, to pasta salads galore.

Looking to please a vegetarian palate at your party? One of my favorites is the Tofurky suasages, and my absolute favorite, the Italian sausages, are now priced at $2.99 a package! The other two varieties (beer brats and kielbasa) are both on sale for $4.19, and these are hearty and very tasty alternatives that will not disappoint.

Also, looking to ”green” your red, white, and blue this year? Check out the grilling endcap near the front of the store where you will find earth friendly cutlery- forks, knives, and spoons made from corn that will biodegrade in a matter of months! A package of 24 is only $1.99. No more plastic silverware in the trash! Throw these in the compost!

The 365 natural charcoal is conveniently on sale again so if you haven’t stocked up for the rest of the summer, this is a great time to do it.
