Barbara’s Puffins

Are you on the eternal quest to find new and exciting cereals? It is a passion that many of us share because cereal is such a perfect snack or meal at any time of the day.

One of my favorites is Puffins, a cereal from Barbara’s Bakery. It comes in cinnamon, honey rice, orignal, and peanut butter flavors. You could eat it straight out of the box and enjoy its light and crispy texture or let it soak in milk for a minute or two to let the flavors really come out. They are also gluten free, a big bonus for anyone who wants to avoid wheat!

Puffins is named after the animal of the same name. Barbara’s has a particular fondness for them and named this cereal after the bird in an attempt to bring attention to these awesome little creatures. They were almost extinct from the coast of Maine when a dedicated effort came together to reintroduce and establish the puffin population. Through this cereal, Barbara’s Bakery has been able to be a part of this and help the puffins live and flourish!
