It’s an easy way for schools to raise money - schools simply buy gifts cards at a reduced rate from Whole Foods (4% discount!)……… and then sell them to parents. Every year the American River Parkway Foundation and it’s thousands of volunteers remove tens of thousands of pounds of debris from the parkway.
