Couple’s Cooking: Seafood 101

Bored with the same old date night of dinner and a movie? Learn to cook together in the Lifestyle Center. Chef Stacey will take you on a tour of the seafood department and then back to the class room to prepare some delicious fish dishes. Bring some friends and make it a double date. This is a hands on class with a full meal served.

Whole Foods Market South Loop Welcomes Chef Jen from Hell’s Kitchen Season 4

Chef Jennifer is a graduate of the nationally acclaimed School of Culinary Arts at Kendall College in Chicago. She has studied abroad in both Dinant, Belgium and Paris, France. 

Chef Jennifer has worked in numerous fine dining restaurants in the Chicagoland area in both front and back of the house. In January of 2007 she relocated from Chicago, Illinois to Atlanta, Georgia where she became Garde Manger Chef at an exclusive five-star, platinum, Country Club. In September of 2007 she was cast on FOX’s hit reality show “Hell’s Kitchen”, where she finished fourth place among fifteen contestants. During her culinary career she has worked with world renowned Chefs such as Wolfgang Puck and Gordon Ramsay.

Chef Jen is currently the Executive Chef/ Owner of Catered Excellence, a full service catering company that offers event planning, cooking classes and personal chef services.

Tired of the traditional Crudité platter and boring chips and dip? Let Chef Jen teach you how to wow your guests and make your next party POP! In this class you will learn some of the coolest culinary tricks that Master Chefs spend hundreds of dollars learning how to do. Highlights of the class include: carving an apple swan, tomato and scallion roses, carrot palm trees, fruit flower arrangements and much more! You don’t want to miss this class!

Summer in Southern France

Need a vacation but can’t quite leave?  No worries, just grab your favorite bottle of wine from the Speciality Department and join Chef Jen in the Lifestyle Center to embark on an informative culinary tour through the south of France. You’ll touch on French history, discuss classic French cooking techniques and enjoy a classic Parisian dinner. Our four course dinner includes: potage petite pois, arugula and prosciutto salad, steamed mussels with melted leeks and a French cheese tasting for dessert.
