It’s Back-to-School time at Whole Foods Market! Come in and check out our colorful variety of eco-friendly backpacks, PVC-free lunch boxes and stainless steel water bottles. Looking for healthy, nutritious snacks and lunch items to fill those lunch boxes? Well look no further—our grocery department is stocked full of delicious, organic, kid-friendly snacks and lunch items. Need advice on how to create more nutritious lunches for your growing scholars? Grab a copy of Lunch Lessons
written by Whole Foods’ own Chef Ann Cooper and co-author Lisa Holmes. It’s a valuable source of information on how to guide your children toward a life-long relationship with healthy eating. Go one step further and reach out to children in our community by becoming a Backpack Buddy. Whole Foods Market has teamed with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina to play a part in ending childhood hunger by asking customers to purchase and donate nutritious food items for elementary school children. The donated food items will be used to fill backpacks which will be distributed for the children to take home over the weekends. Visit the store for a list of needed items as well as full instructions on how you can donate.
