Cold and Flu

by winston-salem, September 25, 2009 | Permalink

Cooler weather brings relief from the heat of summer, but it also brings along those sniffles, chills, and aches, and those dreaded words, “cold” and “flu”.  Now is the time to visit the Whole Body department at Whole Foods Market to stock up on immune-supportive supplements to give you the protection you need to get through the upcoming season.  We offer a wide variety of vitamins, herbs, and homeopathic remedies to build your immune system and to encourage your body’s natural healing processes.   Visit the Body Care section to find all you need to keep your hands clean, with a great selection of natural hand-sanitizers and soaps.  We all know that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so strengthening your defenses now is the key to staying healthy in the long run.

Football season is upon us and everyone is looking to gear up for the games.  Now is the perfect time to head over to Whole Foods Market for all of your tailgating needs!  Visit our meat department for the best selection of natural, organic, free-range, and grass-fed meats.  With the added benefit of many of our suppliers being LOCAL, you are guaranteed to receive the freshest and highest quality meat products.  Be sure to check out our vast array of natural snack foods in our Grocery department, where you can find all the fun stuff like chips, sodas, and pretzels, without all the “junk” ingredients: no hydrogenated oils, no high fructose corn syrup, and no artificial preservatives, colors, or sweeteners.   Last but not least, stop by the Specialty department for a grand display of fine cheese, wine, and beer from all over the world.  Can’t decide which of our hundreds of different varieties of beer you’d like to try?  Go ahead and “Mix a Six” and design your own six-pack.  Stop by the store for more great ideas and recipes to help make this season a hit!
