Meet the Maker Market & 5% Day

Whole Foods Market and Central Oregon Locavore bring you the second installment in a series of “Meet the Maker” events! The afternoon will be full of all things Oregon – local food producers, farms, ranchers and more! Come out to sample products, meet the producers, hear their stories, and connect with your community!

In addition to the Meet the Maker event, Whole Foods Market Bend will be donating 5% of total proceeds from June 16th to Local Commerce Alliance!

Meet The Maker Markets are a collaboratory effort between Local Commerce Alliance, Central Oregon Locavore and Whole Foods Market that seeks to engage local shoppers with local farmers, producers, and ranchers. These quarterly “pop-up” markets allow farmers to reach a broader customer base that might otherwise not have discovered the myriad of local products available within the region.

Meet the Maker Markets are part of a larger initiative from Whole Foods Market called “From Around Here” in which Whole Foods Market strives to support it’s local community by carrying and promoting products that are grown, raised, harvested, produced or within the state of Oregon.
