Community Giving and Donations
Whole Foods Market Briarcliff is proud to support its community’s organizations. We recognize our responsibility to be active participants in our local community and strive to create new relationships every month. We give a minimum of 5% of our profits every year to a wide variety of community and non-profit organizations. There are two ways non-profit organizations can receive assistance: Donations and 5% Days.
5% Day benefiting Druid Hills High School
Wednesday, March 28
Shop for a cause on March 28 and 5% of our net sales will be donated to Druid Hills High School! This neighborhood high school is planning to fund a a health committee focusing on nutrition through the teenage years. Make your shopping list and stock up because the more you shop, the more you give! The day’s events include:
- 10 am Store Tour and Tasting – learn how to shop for value and try some of our favorite products around the store!
- 4-6 pm Pizza Party and DJ – take advantage of our pizza specials (2 slices for $5 or 16-inch cheese pizza for $9.99) and jam to the music
- All Day – enter to win a FREE Spring Break Gift Basket – all the essentials you’ll need for the car, beach or sun!
Donations
We are committed to helping our community neighbors and are open to in-kind sponsorship of your event. If you are a local, non-profit 501 (c) 3 agency and want to be considered, please go to the link below and complete the form. We ask that completed forms be submitted 4-6 weeks in advance. While submitting an application is a necessary first step in the process, it is not a guarantee that a donation request will be granted.

Due to the amount of requests we receive, we are not able to respond to each one. We will contact you if your request is appoved.
5% Days
Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year, a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days. 
If your 501(c)3 non-profit organization would like to be considered as a recipient for a 5% Day, please complete the 5% Day application and return to Customer Service or email to jayme.persons@wholefoods.com.
