Naturally Delicious Cakes
We offer specialty cakes crafted from the finest all-natural ingredients. Our skilled bakers use real butter, real cream, pure cane sugar, organically grown flours, ripe fresh fruits, the finest chocolates, nuts and other premium ingredients, to create deliciously memorable cakes. Our selection offers something to suit every taste and occasion.
We’re also happy to offer the option of custom garnishes, fillings and decorations. We specialize in floral artistry and the use of seasonal fresh fruit. Please consult with a baker for details and for a price quote on customized cakes.
In addition to offering wonderful cakes for your special occasions, we also offer the services of a catering staff to assist with your catering needs. We offer everything from delicious hors d’oeuvre to complete dinners, along with beers, wines, and fine champagnes, as well as fresh cut flowers for your table.

Ordering a Cake
Specialty cakes from our bakery are available either as round 3-layer cakes or sheet cakes. Here are approximate numbers of servings per cake. Feel free to stop by or call for pricing information:

We are passionate about bringing you the highest quality and best tasting fresh produce, Chef-prepared foods, baked foods, natural meats, and sparkling seafood. Open 7:00am – 9:00pm daily, Penguins Cafe and Coffee Bar offers hot entrees, vegan and vegetarian selections, a soup and sandwich station, fresh made sushi, pastries, breads, desserts, wine, beer, juice and more! Seafood
In support of our commitment to quality, we receive shipments of fresh fish seven days a week. We also offer a wide variety of oven-ready selections for quick and easy meal preparation. Our shrimp trays and seafood dips make excellent snacks for any gathering but if it’s shellfish you crave, we’ve got that too! In fact, we pledge to have at least fifteen varieties of fresh fish available daily.
Wondering how to prepare your latest selection? Ask our fish mongers for preparation tips – they’ll tell you everything you need to know to prepare delicious dishes from the sea! Chapel Hill is proud to support local seafood vendors; our catfish comes from Carolina Classics Catfish based in Greenville, NC and our rainbow trout comes from Carolina Mountain Trout of Andrews, NC. Seasonality and sustainability are very important to us at Whole Foods Market. Our fish selection varies with the seasons and we are committed to working solely with sustainable fisheries. We can’t wait to see you at the seafood counter!
