Community Giving
At Whole Foods Market we value the communities in which we do business. This is one of our Core Values! We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each day. We strive to make a difference. We are rooted in our community.
Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year, a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

Our Green Mission
Here at Harry’s Farmers Market™ we do many things in support of our planet.
One way, which many customers and team members actively participate in, is recycling. We are here to accommodate you, and therefore we accept Plastics #1-7, Glass, Aluminum, Steel, Newspaper, and Magazines. We do not accept Styrofoam, paper board, or cardboard. All our recycling facilities are located behind the store, and all are labeled for minimum confusion.
ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY
Harry’s Farmers Market™ is a proud volunteer of the Georgia Adopt A Highway program. We have selected a mile right in front of our store to clean and help better our local environment and yours! The mile is located on Roswell Road, beginning at Powers Ferry Road and ending at Lantern Ridge. You may see us out there cleaning up, so feel free to give a honk!
Around the store and in our bathrooms, we have environmental facts to give us all that added encouragement to take the time to recycle and use up less of our resources. Keep your eye out for them!
Partnerships, Donations, and Sponsorships
Harry’s Farmers Market is always looking for potential partnerships and ways to give back to the community.
If you would like to know how you or your organization can get involved, please feel free to contact Nancy Tao at nancy.tao@wholefoods.com.
